The LABF inducted its inaugural class of 50 Giants — entertainers, innovators, programmers and executives — on Sept. 18, 2003, at the Grand Hyatt New York.

Hubbard; Metromedia executive John Kluge; Tribune executive Ward Quaal; and former CBS President Frank Stanton. “All are legendary for their contributions to broadcasting, and this event is designed to keep their example before us," said LABF President Lucille Luongo.
